All property transfers involving metes and bounds descriptions must have their legal descriptions reviewed before they will be transferred. Please be prepared to leave a copy and return once the work is approved.
Combinations and splits of existing tax parcels require recorded property surveys and all taxes must be brought current before the property will be split or combined (IC 25-21.5-2-4).
Any property annexations require the names of all property owners whose properties are involved in the annexation.
There is a $10 transfer fee (cash or check) for each taxing parcel that is transferred and/or requires an endorsement from the Auditor.
