GREENFIELD, Ind. (June 9, 2023) – The Community Foundation of Hancock County (CFHC), in partnership with Hancock Flat 50, is pleased to co-fund the launch of a new Hancock County trails and parks website.
The site, www.trailsandparksINhancock.org, was created with input from county, city, and town representatives who have been working collaboratively since 2017 following an 18- month planning process that resulted in the Hancock County Trails Plan, a component of community thoroughfare plans across the county. The implementation phase, led by the Community Foundation, launched in 2019. Volunteers have worked tirelessly to support trail expansion, safety signage, programming, and promotion with the objective of enhancing an already vibrant community.
